Submission Deadline Extension!

We've got exciting news!  We're extending the hackathon deadline to January 6th to give everyone more time to polish their Devpost submissions and showcase their incredible projects.

Why the extension?

We want you to have the best possible hackathon experience. To help you succeed, we're encouraging everyone to dedicate this next week to completing the GitHub Universe Learning Challenge.

Here's the updated timeline:

December 17th: Deadline to complete the GitHub Universe Learning Challenge. Don't miss out on this valuable opportunity to level up your skills!

January 6th: New hackathon submission deadline. Use the extra time to refine your project, write a stellar Devpost submission, and create a compelling demo video. Remember, you must use GitHub Copilot with VS Code or Visual Studio to build and submit an app leveraging Azure services.

We believe this adjusted timeline will allow you to:

Deep dive into learning: Fully immerse yourselves in the GitHub Universe Learning Challenge and gain valuable knowledge.

Build stronger projects: Apply your newfound skills from the learning challenge to create even more impressive hackathon projects.

Craft compelling submissions: Have ample time to perfect your Devpost submission and wow the judges.
